At the turn of February and March 2016, the 14th No Scalpel Vasectomy Charity Mission – No Scalpel Vasectomy International (NSVI) – took place in the Philippines.
An international team of experienced vasectomy doctors – specialising in teaching other doctors – performed free No Scalpel Vasectomy procedures using the most effective Canadian method (electro cautery, fascial interposition). The No Scalpel Vasectomy mission was a charitable one and was financed entirely from the participants’ own funds.
Here I would like to thank personally my patients, who also donated money to this noble cause.
No-scalpel vasectomy is a method of male contraception and is becoming more and more popular, especially in developed countries. It is a convenient and luxurious method, simple and almost entirely free of complications. However, because of the uncontrolled excessive population growth, the least developed countries need vasectomy even more.
The 14th No Scalpel Vasectomy Mission in the Philippines: 23 February 2016

From Tuesday 23 February to Tuesday 1 March, NSVI ran its 14th Charity Mission in the Philippines. The aim of the mission, as every time so far, was to perform free vasectomies for poor Filipinos, fathers of large families, and also to teach local doctors and medical students to perform vasectomies.
Last year’s Philippines 2015 mission was rewarding (over 500 procedures performed, meetings with journalists, lectures for students, teaching local doctors no-scalpel vasectomy using the most modern variant of the method Open Ended Fascial Interposition).
That is why as many as 7 of the 10 participants (volunteer doctors) declared their participation in the 2016 mission even before last year’s 2015 mission had ended. All of them kept their word and once again took part in this year’s 2016 mission.

In addition, their time and money were given by (1) NSVI Director of Education Dr John Curington from New York, (2) Dr John Abano, an excellent Filipino-American vasectomist from Seattle, and (3) Iwona Kulik, the wife of Dr Robert Kulik from Warsaw.
